Location: Karachi

POSITION SUMMARY

To supervise subordinate’s responsibilities and monitor current buying strategy in order to suggest improvements where applicable. Delivering on client requests and maintaining relationships with ABM’s and below, through regular correspondence especially during slump advertising periods.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Scheduling:
  • Creation of schedules based on media brief.
  • Identification of channel mix based on audience analysis and ratings.
  • Evaluation schedules for reach, ratings and CPRP delivery.
Post Buy Analysis:
  • Analysis of actual airing, vs planned in terms of spend, reach, CPRP, GRP's & frequency.
Executions:
  • Working with OPS to ensure timely delivery of material and RO.
  • Coordination with channels to ensure placements, and reduce droppages.
  • Generation of weekly droppage report and take up issue with the channel.
  • Channel performance review.
Negotiations/ Value Additions:
  • Negotiation of campaign/ brand deals on an ongoing basis.
  • Adding value by negotiating free mileage on the basis of spending.
  • Creation of package deals on ST commitments.
  • Deal format and documents.
  • VA sheet.
  • Buying Strategy Review.
  • Monitoring of current strategy and advise changes if any.
  • Relationship/Vendor Management.
  • Talking to Sales executives on a daily basis.
  • Talking to sales managers on a weekly basis.
  • Ensuring of smooth execution of schedules.
Client Servicing:
  • Delivering on ad hoc requests made by clients.
  • Ensuring on time delivery of all deliverables.
  • Ensuring accurate sharing of information with clients.
  • Maintaining a partnering perspective with clients.
  • Ensuring documentation of all correspondence in the form of emails and contact reports.
  • Maintaining and updating status report which would include upcoming deliverables and items that need resolution and/or follow up.
  • Talking to ABMs and below on a daily basis.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Education:
  • Minimum 4-year Bachelor degree.
Experience:
  • Up to 2 Years of Experience in the Media Agency.
